Our Process
1️⃣ Initial Consultation
Before we begin any design or construction work, we start every project with an Initial Consultation. This meeting allows us to properly understand your project, your needs, and the overall scope before any design work begins.
You may choose one of the following:
• Paid On-Site Assessment & Consultation (1 hour)
We visit your space to evaluate existing conditions, understand your goals, take measurements, and provide professional direction tailored to your project.
OR
• Free Virtual Consultation
You share clear photos and/or videos of the current space, along with basic measurements and a brief description of your needs. This allows us to understand your project scope remotely before a scheduled call to further discuss your project.
What the Initial Consultation Covers
The consultation is a one-hour professional advisory session where we focus on understanding your project and providing expert guidance.
During this meeting, we will typically:
• Review and discuss your project goals, ideas, and expectations
• Assess the existing space and site conditions (for on-site consultations)
• Identify potential design opportunities and challenges
• Provide preliminary professional recommendations and direction
• Discuss possible layout considerations and functional improvements
• Offer general guidance on materials, finishes, and design approach
• Discuss realistic timelines, project phases, and execution process
• Provide a preliminary understanding of potential project costs and budget considerations
This meeting is extremely valuable because it helps clients avoid costly mistakes, unrealistic budgets, and poor planning decisions early in the process.

The consultation does not include design development, drawings, moodboards, space planning documents, or any other design deliverables. Those services form part of our formal design engagement, which begins after the consultation if you decide to proceed.
Following the consultation, if you wish to move forward, we will provide a design service proposal and fee structure for the next phase of work, which includes concept development, moodboards, design documentation, and project planning and implementation.
