Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing, detailed, and innovative Interior Design Assistant to support our interior design team in creating stunning and functional spaces for our clients. The successful candidate will assist in the design development, documentation, and implementation of interior design projects, leveraging AI, tech, and digital tools to enhance their work.
Responsibilities
- 1. Assist in the development of innovative interior design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, and material selection, using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
- 2. Create and edit design documents, such as floor plans, elevations, and sections, using design software and AI-powered tools.
- 3. Conduct site visits to take measurements, assess existing conditions, and monitor progress, using digital tools such as laser measuring devices and 360-degree cameras.
- 4. Research and source materials, finishes, and furniture for projects, using online platforms and AI-powered procurement tools.
- 5. Collaborate with the design team, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution, using digital collaboration tools such as Slack, Trello, and Asana.
- 6. Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials, using design software and AI-powered presentation tools.
- 7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve design solutions.
- 8. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's design style and brand identity, and apply this knowledge to design solutions.
Must Have
- 1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
- 2. Extensive knowledge in interior design and or architecture.
- 3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
- 4. Experience with AI-powered design tools and digital collaboration platforms.
- 5. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 7. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
