Accento Projekts, a full-service construction design and interior design firm specializing in multifamily residential projects, seeks an intern to provide design assistance. An internship with us affords undergraduate + graduate interior design students or recent graduates an opportunity to contribute in an engaging and creative environment while developing their skills in a professional atmosphere.

This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think
outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done"
spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining firm resource library
- • Participating in project design development, including FF+E research and selection
- • Processing sample orders and returns
- • Assisting with project installations
- • Providing direct support to senior designers on current projects as needed
- Provide support for lead designer
- • Accompany and assist lead designer during client meetings at job sites and showrooms
- • Take detailed notes during meetings, take measurements/photos of projects
- • Create CAD drawings for client projects
- • Research décor and materials; provide pricing, availability, stock, eta
- • Place orders, purchase materials, pick up and deliver
- • Submit receipts for all purchases and orders
- • Track and communicate status of orders; resolve problems
- • Maintain spreadsheets with client selections/finish materials
- • Respond to client questions and concerns; project updates
- • Meet vendors, assist with installations
- • Generate content and Manage social media and online presence
- Qualify the customer needs
- Negotiate and contract
- Master demos of our software
Must Have
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (undergraduates should have completed their second year,
- • Required computer skills include Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Canva, Knowledge of Sketchup, Revit and Adobe Creative, CooHom.
- Suite is a plus.
- • Must possess strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Must be self-starter and eager to participate in all aspects of design process
- • Candidates are expected to be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly creative and autonomous
